What is "Basic Training"?  Evangelism Basic Training is an eight week course, produced by LivingWaters Publications.  It is not designed to replace the full "Biblical Evangelism" course, however it will help anyone with a desire to reach the lost.  Many Christians see the need to, and want to, tell others about Christ.  However, most feel inadequate to do so.  This course will show anyone how to use Biblical Evangelism. During the eight weeks (one session per week), the class will go from talking to strangers, to handing out tracts, to a full blown fishing trip in the final week.  Many that have taken this course are very nervous at first, some even resist the exercises, however by the end of the class, everyone is glad they took it.  We will use DVD footage of Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron street witnessing, as well as class work and practical exercises.  Yes, there is some homework and of course everyone will have a weekly evangelism assignment.  We can offer this class three times a year (one of these classes will be taught within our church, two of these can be scheduled with other groups).  If you would like to offer this class to your congregation, or to a group of Christians that would like to take it, please let us know.  We will provide the instruction, DVDs, and tracts, free of charge.  In order to offer this class, your church/group must provide a classroom, a DVD player, and a TV.  Each participant will need to purchase a text book from LivingWaters (cost of book is currently $6).
